Starting off, Alex will make an incorrect assumption about Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). Her uneasy behavior will leave him wondering if she’s uncomfortable with
his new working arrangement alongside Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) at Titan. Though neither Joy nor Alex planned to be colleagues, circumstances have placed them
in the same company, and they both need stability in their professional lives.
Stephanie may reassure Alex that she isn’t jealous and is supportive of his career, yet he’ll sense that something is being kept from him. If DOOL decides to stir up more confusion, Stephanie might have a secretive phone chat with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). Since Kayla urged Stephanie to remain silent about Joy’s pregnancy test, she could be following up to ensure Stephanie keeps her word.
Alex could end up overhearing a portion of their conversation, particularly if Stephanie says something cryptic like, “You’re right. Alex can’t know about the pregnancy test yet.” Misinterpreting this, Alex may jump to the conclusion that Stephanie is pregnant with Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) child, leading to a tense confrontation. If Alex presses for answers, Stephanie might be forced to reveal what she actually knows.
Meanwhile, Jada will work on helping Rafe recover his lost memories, but she might still believe he’s actually Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering). Under the impression that she’s assisting Arnold, she could be unknowingly helping Rafe regain crucial pieces of his past. However, it’s unlikely that Rafe will recall enough to confirm his true identity, leaving him entangled in legal trouble for now.
Elsewhere, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will confide in Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney), possibly regarding the cover-up involving Arnold and the recent developments now that he’s out of the equation. But EJ’s day will take a dangerous turn when he receives an unexpected—and unwelcome—visitor.
Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) will return with a gun in hand, demanding answers about Rafe. However, despite her threats, EJ will remain tight-lipped, refusing to give her the information she desperately seeks. As the situation intensifies, Gabi’s protective instincts as a sister will be on full display.
